You can be certain of a warm welcome at the delightful Rufiji River Camp, set along the bank of the Rufiji River in the heart of the Selous Game Reserve.

Rufiji River Camp has 20 tents all with en-suite facilities set under makuti roofs and with shady verandas facing the Rufiji River so that you can sit and watch the daily flow of animals coming down to the river to drink, or just enjoy relaxing in the heat of the day.

There is a lovely bar/lounge where you can relax and watch the activity on the river, and a dining area where meals are mainly buffet style and offer a varied international menu of tasty and wholesome food.  There is also a small library with reference books.  There is also a separate covered swimming pool with sun loungers where you can cool down in the afternoon between game drives.

On offer at Rufiji River Camp are boat trips, morning and afternoon game drives and all day game drives in comfortable 4x4 safari vehicles.  Guided walks are also available in the surrounding area accompanied by a ranger allowing you to experience the bush on foot.
