Call us to talk about Fishing.

By his very nature, the fly fisherman is an adventurer. And where better to experience adventure than in the magical continent of Africa, with its opportunities for game viewing and cultural experiences, natural wonders such as Victoria Falls - and some of the most exciting fly fishing in the world. True, it is in Zambia, and its renowned Lower Zambezi River, that the most exciting fishing is to be found, but Tanzania also has much to offer the keen fisherman.

Amongst species to be found here in the inland lakes and rivers are the famously vicious Tiger Fish (well, they’re really vicious in the Lower Zambezi anyway), large Vundu (Catfish), and Bream.

The serious fisherman, though, will restrict himself to ocean fishing, off the mainland coast, or that of the island of Zanzibar. Here you can experience serious game fishing – Wahoo, Sailfish and Barracuda, to mention just a few – but this is an activity that lies somewhat outside the safari scene that we are focusing on here.
